Non-Live Content

Date Last Updated: April 15, 2021

Non-live content is video content that is not meant to be watched in real time as it is happening (see Live Content). Examples include a movie, a show series, etc. In contrast to live content, non-live content is only made available for consumption to viewers sometime after the content was produced. Viewer consumption of non-live content occurs using both linear programming (see Linear Programming) as well as on-demand programming (see On-Demand Programming).
